BIOGRAPHY
Hello and welcome to my website! I am a psychological sciences student at Northern Arizona University with a passion for the creative arts! I have long used art as a coping mechanism to cope with my anxiety and depression. Through my art and my anticipated career as an art therapist, I hope to share the healing power of art! Below features some of my early work from my AP portfolio I submitted during my senior year of high school. Please scroll down to see some of the projects I have created since then!

My concentration involves my personal experience with mental health. I hope that by telling my story through art I can validate the experience of others'.
I realize that some of my art may be graphic so please proceed with caution!
Trigger Warning: self-harm
This image depicts the transfer of mental illness from a parent to a child. the connection between them is damaged by the illness itself.
Miffy was a toy rabbit I lost in the backyard of my old house in California just before we moved.
I have struggled with sleep since I was very young. My anxiety was erratic at this time and I would lie awake for hours thinking. The princess and the pea was inspiration because it portrayed a struggle I related to in a way I understood.
I have been attempting to illustrate what a panic attack feels like. They are perpetuating waves of fear rush up my body.
This peice represents the loss of innocence that followed one of my first depressive episodes.
correlates with my struggle with self-harm. Representation of self-harm in art are often dramatized and romanticized. I wanted to do something different that forces the viewer to consider a new perspective.
Willow is a girl that I met at our local hospital. She probably suffered from PTSD. I wanted to capture the kind of suffering that I witnessed.
BREADTH
My breadth pieces consist of work outside of my concentration that display experimentation and growth.
I worked along side the West Valley Arts Council with a team of artists to complete a mural commissioned by the city of Peoria, Arizona. The mural can be viewed at 83rd Ave & village parkway in Peoria Arizona.
Project submission and gift to Dr. Heidi Wayment Ph.D.
